Who the fӣ& is driving

Bought a spare wheel incase the driver gets tired. Also fun trying to confuse the the locals….

Flat calm this morning, like a mill pond!

Even more comfort

After trying to sleep on chairs and the floor we gave up and had a wander around the boat. We struck gold when we found lots of empty padded seating and a good sleep followed!

We all woke up about 7:30 and headed to the breakfast area :D

Yum!

The view from my bed / deck floor

Time for some sleep

With a long drive ahead when we get to Ancona, we’ve planned to get some sleep on the ferry. We are on the deck at the rear of the ferry – outside. It could get chilly, again!
Still, at least we know about it this time and have brought some warmer clothes. We were literally freezing cold on the way out and don’t want to do that again…

Exploring on the boat b4 kipping! ;)

Pete and Rob get excited over a blow up ship

Ferry arrived

Damn good driving from the Captain. Pulled the handbrake and slotted a 180 turn in the dock to reverse up and load us all on. Impressive :D

14.5 hours to Ancona!

The horror ferry arriving

Rob, bored waiting for the ferry, risks getting shot!

Rob has a 450 flight on the key waiting for the “horror ferry”!

Everyone but me….

Still a happy couple

Checked in

Ready and waiting for the “Superfast” ferry to Ancona. Mike dared me to fly the 450 in the port – who am I to refuse a quick blast on the sticks???

Damn good fun and the small crowd loved it :D

Tickets

Pete has definitely got the tickets.

Definitely :D

Mainland Greece

As I can’t spell Igoumenitsa, it is now called mainland Greece :D
We headed off to the ticket office to check in on our main ferry journey between mainland Greece and Ancona in Italy.

Start as we mean to go on!

Shrek and Donkey, snoozing on the boat from Corfu to ingam.., ingamin…, Greese!

Leaving Corfu

It’s official. We are no longer on Corfu :(

It’s been a blast :D

The first ferry

We will be catching the 4:30 ferry from Corfu to Igoumenitsa (no doubt spelled wrong!).

England or Bust

Quick chill by the pool

Everything is packed and ready to roll so we spent our last half hour at RC Hotel chilling by the pool with a large cold drink :D

We have had an amazing time here thanks to the great hospitality, friendly atmosphere and good company. I can’t wait to come back again, but this time on a damned plane!! :D

Signing out

Had our final flights and now it’s time to pack up everything ready for the second leg of the road trip, now officially called “Dude, where’s my plane!”

Spiros asked us to sign his flightline banner for a reminder of our trip :D

Kebab any one

Three peice aurora anyone

Flightline banner

Banner meets Edders!

Edders not quite building it right

I’m pretty sure there’s a bolt out of place here! :D
